SAT complete Kerala Premier League semifinal line-up with big win over KSEB

The semifinal line-up of the Kerala Premier League was complete on Tuesday after SAT Tirur crushed KSEB 5-2 to seal a spot.

Kerala Police, Kerala United FC and Muthoot FA are the other teams in the semifinals. Both the semifinals will be played on February 8 (Thursday) at the Jawahar Municipal Stadium in Kannur.

SAT will take on the in-form Kerala Police in the first semifinal at 4 pm and Kerala United and Muthoot FA will lock horns at 7 pm to decide the other finalist.

The fourth spot in the semifinals was up for grabs on the final day of the Super Six with SAT and Wayanad United going all out. While SAT won their match, Wayanad United lost 1-2 to Kerala United to crash out.

For SAT, captain Muhammed Nisham and Yadhukrishna M P bagged a brace each and Mohammed Basheer P K also scored. Arjun V and Sreeraj K were the goalscorers were KSEB.
