The 32-year-old signed for Arsenal from Atletico Madrid for 50 million euros ($59 million) in October 2020 and became an important player for the Londoners.

Partey had been arrested in July 2022, but was allowed to play for the club as he had not been named in the case, even as the investigations were ongoing.
