Fans who buy Calicut FC's Oct 11 match tickets could watch Messi’s Argentina in Kochi

Two lucky fans who buy tickets for Saturday's (October 11) Super League Kerala (SLK) match between Calicut FC and Thrissur Magic will be able to watch Lionel Messi's Argentina live in Kochi next month.

Manorama Quickerala, the official ticketing partner of Calicut FC, have announced that the two winners will get two tickets each for the Argentine men's football team's proposed friendly fixture at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kochi on November 17.

The offer is available for those who purchase the match ticket on www.quickerala.com. The match will be played at the EMS Corporation Stadium in Kozhikode, starting at 7.30 pm. Tickets for the match can also be bought from the stadium box office after 12 on the match day. 

Calicut FC are the defending champions. They began the second season with a 2-1 win over Forca Kochi at home last week.

SLK is a franchise-based men's football league that was rolled out last season. The league comprises six franchises, namely Calicut FC, Forca Kochi, Malappuram FC, Thrissur Magic, Thiruvananthapuram Kombans and Kannur Warriors.

Kerala is eagerly awaiting the visit of World Cup winners Argentina, led by iconic forward Messi. Argentina's friendly match in Kochi, reportedly against Australia, is sponsored by a private broadcasting company.
