Jakarta: Teenager Lakshay Sheoran brought cheers to the Indian camp by gunning down the silver medal in the men's trap event of the Asian Games shooting competition here on Monday.

This was the second silver for India from the shooting range on the day. Earlier, Deepak Kumar had come second in 10m air rifle.

The 19-year-old Lakshay shot 43 in the final to clinch the sliver behind Kunpi Yang of Chinese Taipei. Yang won the gold with a Games record of 48 points.

Another Indian Manavjit Singh Sandhu finished fourth.
