Kottayam: The registration process for Kerala’s biggest sporting honour - the Malayala Manorama-Santa Monica Study Abroad Sports Club Award 2022 - will close on February 28 (Tuesday).
The award intends to honour the contributions of clubs and academies to the state’s sports sector during the past one year. Any registered sports academy/club active in the field of sports in any discipline is eligible to apply. Clubs/academies that are under direct control of central or state governments or those function on government grants are not eligible to apply.
The first-prize winner will be given away the Manorama Sports Club Award 2022 and a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh. The second and third place winners will be awarded trophies and a purse of Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1 lakh respectively.
