Sweden's Mondo Duplantis broke his own pole vault world record for the 13th time.

Duplantis cleared 6.29 metres at the Hungarian Grand Prix meeting in Budapest on Tuesday to set a fresh world-best mark.

Duplantis won gold medals in the 2020 and 2024 Olympics, besides striking gold in the 2022 and 2023 World Championships.

Duplantis broke his world record a 12th time only in June in Stockholm, and tonight he improved it by one centimetre.
