India is introducing the 'India Size Chart', developed by NIFT using comprehensive data from over 26,000 scanned citizens, to replace traditional Western apparel sizing systems with measurements tailored specifically to domestic body types.
Currently, the tax rate on manmade fibre (MMF) is 18 per cent, MMF yarn 12 per cent, while fabrics are taxed at 5 per cent.
