Discussions are on to operate more services to Europe and Africa from the Cochin International Airport here, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said, adding the schedules are likely to materialise soon.
Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has announced 17 international departures for Sunday, including four flights each to Sharjah and Dubai.
CIAL Managing Director S Suhas IAS has said that the updated schedule will stimulate the aviation as well as tourism sectors in the time of the distress.
