In her Facebook post, the actor said she had gone to meet John Paul in hospital after he expressed a desire to meet her personally.
'This selection is based solely on my personal tastes and preferences,' John Paul had said after revealing the list.
Pointing out that John Paul had an unparalleled command over language and literature, Boban said, "There were so many instances when I could feel the warmth and love that you had for the Udaya family, especially for my Appan."
He has written over 100 scripts and also produced some movies. Apart from these, he has also written several books and acted in a few movies like 'Gangster' and 'C/O Saira Banu'.
The 71-year-old scenarist has been hospitalized with various ailments, including difficulty in breathing, for more than two months.
