The beaches, the party zones, the forts, the scenic locales – Bollywood's love affair with Goa has been a long standing one. Dear Zindagi, staring Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan travels to enchanting Goa – yet again. We list a couple of places in this beach haven, that has been immortalized on celluloid. And it is needless to say that if you are on a visit to Goa, and have not yet been to these places,  you must.

Beyond the city

Dear Zindagi takes you beyond the beaches – to the villages. And they are so peaceful

The forts

The forts at Aguada and Chapora have seen a lot of visitors post Singham and Dil Chahta Hai.

The churches

The ancient churches across Goa have been locations for Bollywood flicks. Remember this scene from Aashiqui 2? It was not the only scene shot before the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Panaji, Goa.

Less famous destinations

Finding Fanny was shot in lesser known locales across Goa. The film was supported by the Goa Tourism department and took you to the  Three King’s Church Cansaulim; St Jacinto Bridge and Divar Island among other places.

And the beaches

And once you are done visiting all these places, head out to the beach. And chill out. You are in Goa to relax, right?
