TikTok star Fukru eager to visit Ladakh after lockdown

The ban on Chinese app TikTok, among others, was big news recently. However, the popular app has already created several celebrities in Kerala and Fukru is among them. He later earned more fame through a reality show.

Even though TikTok is no longer available in India, Fukru, whose real name is Krishnajeev, is still a star. Fukru says that apart from creating TikTok videos, his next love is travelling, especially to scenic places in the high ranges.

According to the celebrity, he finds many a thrills in travelling on bike with friends. "The high range is my favourite destination. The hills and mountains are a feast for the eyes. However, I haven't come across many opportunities to travel abroad and am yet to set out my dream journey. But I am young and there is plenty of time ahead," he says.

Charming Idukki

Fukru has visited Idukki since his school days. "It is, without doubt, the most beautiful place in Kerala. The hills, forests, mist, and cold are certain to enchant any traveller. I have been there several times and after each trip, my love for the place has only increased," he says.

The celebrity has also bought a tent to camp on the hilltops in Idukki. "Spending a night inside the tent and under the stars is an amazing experience," he explains.

Once, Fukru also travelled to Thenmala. "The trek through the forest was great," he adds.

Trip to Ladakh

Even though adventure trips are not possible due to the lockdown, Fukru has already decided on the destination of his first trip after the COVID-19 threat subsides. "A journey to Ladakh has been a dream for some time now. It’s a bike trip planned along with some friends. On a bike, we can stop anywhere on the way and enjoy the travel. Moreover, some adventure, too, is involved," he says.

He dreamt of riding up to a place high up in the remote Himalayas, to Kardung-La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in the world.

Several travellers have already visited Ladakh and the Himalayas on a bike and their experiences have inspired Fukru too.

Meanwhile, regarding foreign trips, Fukru says, "Till now, I have travelled only to Qatar. However, more trips abroad will be planned soon."
