Dubai is a magical land that never fails to amaze visitors. The beautiful miracle garden, majestic Burj Khaleefa and the fabulous dolphinarium are some of the mesmerizing features of the Emirate. South Indian diva Raai Laxmi seems to be having the time of her life in this magical city on her vacation. She has posted a few pictures on her social media page in which she is seen swimming with dolphins. Sharing the pictures from the dolphinarium, Raai wrote that swimming with the dolphins was “so much fun.”

The Dubai Dolphinarium is one of the most amazing tourist attractions in the city. It is home to some of the rare varieties of dolphins and seals. The visitors can enjoy the special entertainment shows in which the dolphins and seals perform acrobatic stunts. Besides, they tourists can swim with the dolphins and click pictures with them. Most tourists who visit the dolphinarium make sure to swim and play with the dolphins. The dolphinarium is at the creek side park at Bur Dubai near the Children’s City.

This is the first fully air conditioned indoor dolphinarium in the Middle East. It was opened to the public on 21 May 2008. The dolphinarium is maintained by the Dubai municipality.

The highlights

Sprawled in around 5,000 sqft, the dolphinarium can accommodate up to 1,250 visitors at a time. There are entertainment areas for the kids and party spaces for celebrating birthdays, school field trips and group events. Besides, the visitors can swim with the dolphins and enjoy a mirror maze, bird exhibition, restaurants that serves delicious dishes, a mini 5 D theatres and a 7 D theatre within the campus.
