Actor Lijomol recently went on a thrilling vacation in the snow-covered valleys of Himachal Pradesh. The video in which she is seen relaxing in the banks of a beautiful lake is surreal. Besides, Lijomol has also shared pictures from Zingzingbar, a Border Roads Organization road-building camp and tea house way-station situated 25 km from Darcha on the Manali to Leh road. Sharing the pictures, the actress has declared that Himachal has her heart.
Lijomol entered the Malayalam cinema industry playing a pivotal role in Dileesh Pothen’s ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’. She then went on to act in super hit Malayalam movies like ‘Kattapaniyile Rithik Roshan’ and ‘Honeybee 2.5’. Her debut movie in Tamil ‘Sivappu Manjal Pachai’ was released in 2019. Meanwhile, her incredible performance in ‘Jai Bhim’ that was released in 2021 earned her appreciation from all over the country.
Zingzingbar is a major halting spot on the way to Manali at Lahaul and Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh. This is situated around 14,010 feet above sea level. There are lots of shelters and dhabas here to accommodate trekkers and tourists. Lots of tourists reach here to enjoy hot teas and meals on their way to Manali. This is the proposed south portal of the Bara-lacha la tunnel.
Zingzingbar is the perfect spot to relax before entering the slope roads of Bara-lacha la. The northern end of this tunnel reaches Keylong Sarai. Besides, the road building camp of the Border Roads Organization too functions at Zingzingbar. The beautiful halting spot becomes buzzing with tourists during the months of December, January and February when the winter season is at its peak.
