Vijay Deverakonda-Rashmika Mandanna wedding venue: Here's why the remote location is special

After years of speculation, actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are all set to get married on February 26. Just like many other celebrities like Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic, Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju, Kriti Sanon's sister Nupur and Stebin Ben, Vijay and Rashmika have also picked the dreamy, regal, Rajasthan city of Udaipur as their wedding location. According to reports, their 'VIROSH' wedding (a name given to the couple by their fans) will take place at ITC Momentos, a luxury resort near the renowned Eklingji and Nathdwara temples in Udaipur.

A remote location
The ITC Mementos is around 25 kilometres away from Udaipur city. It is located in the middle of the Aravalli hills, offering stunning views of Rajasthan. Even from its entry point, guests have to drive in for around four to five kilometres to reach the extremely private luxury resort, according to media reports. Also, unlike regular resorts, this property has a cluster of villas rather than blocks of rooms. Each of these villas has its own outdoor spaces, private pools, curated menus, and extensive event spaces. 

Udaipur: Why celeb couples love it
Udaipur's iconic palaces, luxury resorts and romantic heritage properties, which also offer privacy, have been extremely popular with celebrity couples for many years. For instance, Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadijraju married at the Jagmandir Island Palace on Lake Pichola, one of Udaipur's most iconic heritage sites. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic got married at the luxury resort Raffles Udaipur, located on the Udai Sagar Lake. Their dreamy locations also ensure exquisite pictures and protection from the media glare.

A three-day event
The VIROSH wedding will reportedly be a three-day event with fewer than 100 guests, closest to the couple. Even an international security agency has been hired to work with the Rajasthan police to ensure the privacy and safety of the couple and guests. It is also a no-camera or phone event. Vijay and Rashmika got engaged in October 2025 in Hyderabad. The wedding will also be followed by a reception in Hyderabad.
