A new project has been launched in Kochi which aims to provide a bigger thrust to the tourism sector in Kerala which is back on track after the COVID-19-induced lull. Under the initiative, two yachts have been brought to Kochi by the promoters, the Dubai-based D3 Yachts.
The first service in Kochi started from Columbus Marina at Edakochi and noted actor Asif Ali was the chief guest during the inaugural trip. The two yachts which will be operating in Kochi are leisure fishing yachts.
According to the management of D3 Yachts – which is a leading yachting firm in the UAE – the project also hopes to introduce new trends in Kerala Tourism. Moreover, the yacht service would bring about major changes in the state’s water tourism sector, management representatives said. In future, there are plans to launch luxury cruise yachts also in Kochi under a partnership between D3 Yachts of Dubai and D3 Kochi, they added.
