How to make this trip possible 

Hire a houseboat.  Well, it is expensive, but the good part is that you have the houseboat to yourself. If you are a small family or a group of friends, it is the best way to spend some quality time with your loved ones.

If you are budget conscious, opt for Kerala State Water Transport Corporation boats, these are passenger boats. You can even break the journey and do it in different phases.
