Making things easier for travellers eager to visit the eco tourism centres in Kerala, online tickets are being made available from September 5. Alongside, the state's Forest Department is launching the online shopping facility to buy all forest products except wood from the Vanasree Eco Shops.
For the tickets and forest products, check the official website of the Forest Department http://www.forest.kerala.gov.in and that of Eco Tourism https://keralaforestecotourism.com. 'Kerala Forest Eco Tourism', a mobile app, is also available for the purpose.
During the first phase, the e-tickets can be booked for 25 out of the 60 ecotourism centres in Kerala. Meanwhile, the Vanasree Eco Shop in Thiruvananthapuram would become the first online eco shop in the state.
The online facilities and mobile app would be launched by Minister for Forest and Wildlife Adv K Raju at his chamber at 11 am on Thursday.
According to the authorities, the online arrangement would be effective at all ecotourism centres and Vanasree units in Kerala within month.
