Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) is all set to deliver 'iftar' food kits through Swiggy, an online food ordering app. The tie-up is expected to help the faithful in breaking their daily fast during this holy month of Ramadan. The venture was inaugurated by KTDC's M Vijayakumar.
The iftar package includes 11 lip-smacking dishes including chicken curry, parotta, biriyani, and fruits. A combo costs Rs 350 plus tax and orders can be placed between 4 pm and 6.30 pm.
Presently, the iftar kits will be delivered from KTDC's Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram, and plans are anvil to extend the service to other KTDC-run hotels.
