Kumarakom, which is a cluster of small isles in Kottayam district, has found place on India's 17 ‘Iconic Tourist Sites’ list and travellers arrive in droves at this picturesque and tranquil hamlet to enjoy its pristine beauty.

Now your vacation in Kumarakom can only get extra special with the reopening of ‘Waterscape’, a premium backwater resort run by Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC). The resort, which was closed for renovation, was thrown open to guests on February 6 after a gap of four years.
