Many flights stop service from Kannur airport, strict restrictions in place

Mattannur: The escalating Covid cases have prompted strict inspection at Kannur international airport. 

Many countries have restricted Indian travellers from entering due to a surge in COVID-19 cases across India. 

Since Oman has suspended travel from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh beginning from tomorrow, the Kannur-Muscat flights (which was flying 3 days a week previously) will stop their service from tomorrow. 

The cancelled UAE flight services for 10 days will affect a lot of passengers as the flights to UAE will be available only till day. Passengers must carry a negative RT-PCR certificate in the printed form issued no more than 48 hours before departure to Dubai. There are three services to UAE today. 

Kerala travellers who are flying to Goa, Delhi and Karnataka are also required to get a negative RT-PCR certificate in order to travel.
