A highly anticipated helicopter tourism project has been flagged off in Thiruvananthapuram on August 21 . A seven minute helicopter ride, enjoying the sweeping view of the Kovalam and Vizhinjam coasts is now possible. The organizers hope that the scope of helicopter tourism would soar, especially during the post pandemic days.

The helicopter would take off the helipad at the Raviz Hotel in Kovalam. The splendid beauty of the coasts is sure to attract anyone. The fabulous scenes where the seas merge with lush greenery would be a joyous sight.

Up to four persons could fly in the helicopter at a time. The ticket fare is Rs 4500 per head. The helicopter tourism project has been introduced on an experimental basis in Kerala. The Holiday Shop tour company has decided to continue the sea project if this is a grand success. Meanwhile, the helicopter firm is all set to expand their operations by coordinating with various tour companies in the state.
