KSRTC’s latest budget tour takes you to some top forest spots in Kerala

With each budget tourism package of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) attracting a huge response, the public carrier is introducing more interesting schedules connecting new travel destinations. The latest in the list is a tour of Bhoothathankettu, Thattekkad, Pooyamkutty and Inchathotty from Kottayam depot. This trip would take travellers close to nature as it covers some of the major forest tourism destinations in Kerala.

According to the schedule announced by the Budget Tourism Cell of the KSRTC which operates the special tourist services, the first bus to these forest destinations will start at 7:30 am on April 16 from Kottayam KSRTC bus stand. Apart from enjoying the stunning greenery at Bhoothathankettu, travellers booking the journey can go on a one-hour boating trip at Thattekkad and cross the hanging bridge at Inchathotty, which is among the longest such structure in Kerala. After covering these spots, the bus is scheduled to arrive back at Kottayam bus stand by 8pm the same day.
