Kochi Metro turns five, travel to any station for Rs 5 today!

Kochi: The rail passengers will have the luxury of travelling in the Kochi Metro by just paying Rs 5 on June 17 on its fifth anniversary.

The aim to attract more passengers to the Metro, apart from introducing the rail service to those who have not travelled in it for even once. Using a ticket of Rs 5, you can travel to any station once.

Even for travelling from the northern Aluva end to the other end at Pettah, the charge will be just Rs 5 on Friday.

However, no decision has yet been taken on how to give this benefit to those who are travelling using the KOCHI1 card.
