Curbs on train services in Kerala due to track repair works

Thiruvananthapuram: Train services will be regulated due to the ongoing maintenance works of tracks and a bridge in the Thrissur, Edappally, Mavelikkara and Karunagappally station limits, and within Mavelikkara-Chengannur and Sasthamkotta-Karunagappally sections.

Cancelled train services - Kollam Junction-Ernakulam Junction Memu Express Special (06778) and Ernakulam Junction-Kollam Junction Memu Express Special (06441) will be fully cancelled from October 15 to 21, and on October 24 and 27.

Train diverted via Alappuzha - Kanyakumari-Pune Junction Daily Express (16382), via Kottayam, will be diverted via Alappuzha on October 18, 21, 24 and 27. In the diverted route, there will be temporary stops at Ambalappuzha, Haripad, Alappuzha, Cherthala, and Ernakulam Junction.

Departure delayed - Kanyakumari-Pune Junction Daily Express (16382), scheduled to leave at 8.40am from Kanyakumari, will have a delayed start at 9.40am from October 15 to 21. 

Regulation - Chennai-Egmore-Guruvayur Express (16127) will be halted for 45 minutes every day from October 13 (Thursday) to October 18.
