Several trains cancelled and diverted after goods trains collide in West Bengal

Onda(West Bengal): Around 14 trains were cancelled and three diverted by the Indian Railways after two goods trains collided at the railway station here in Bengal's Bankura. The collision, that happened around 4.05 am on Sunday, led to derailment of several bogies. Two trains were also short terminated.

The operation between the Kharagpur-Bankura-Adra line is temporarily suspended as of now. 

Tickets booked via IRCTC website will be automatically cancelled and refunded. 

The cancelled trains included the Purulia - Howrah SF Express (12828), the Asanol - Digha Express (13506) and Adra - Kharagpur MEMU special (08686).
