IRCTC ticket booking issue resolved, Rail Connect app fixed

The Indian Railway's IRCTC website, which was down since Tuesday morning, is fixed now. Those trying to book tickets can log in to the IRCTC website to avail the services. The issue, which was raised at 8 am on Tuesday, was fixed around 2.15 pm. 

The IRCTC tweeted, "Booking issue has been resolved now. The IRCTC site and Rail Connect app are working now. The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted."

Earlier, passengers were asked to book through other B2C players like Amazon, Makemytrip etc.

As of now, people continue to screenshots of them not being able to book tickets online on social media platforms, despite the IRCTC claim.
