UAE starts bus service to Oman

Ras Al Khaimah: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a bus service from Ras Al Khaimah to Musandam, a tourist destination in Oman. The first bus service was on Friday. The ticket price is Dh50. The service will be operated from 8 am to 6 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The travel time is 2.5 to 3 hours, Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority said. This is the first international bus service from Ras Al Khaimah. It is estimated that the service will help in augmenting tourism between the two countries.

Bus stops
The bus service that will start from the main bus station in Al Dhait South, Ras Al Khaimah, will have stops at Rams and Shaam. After stopping at Harf, Khada, Bukha, and Tibat in Musandam Governorate, the bus service will end at Khasab Vilayat. With the commencement of the service, the flow of tourists, including Malayalees, from the UAE to Musandam, is bound to increase.
