Palakkad: To address passenger rush during the holiday season, the railway authorities have announced temporary additional coaches in a few trains. The Thiruvananthapuram Central – Kozhikode Jan Shatabdi Express (train no: 12076) will be provided with one additional chair car coach from December 29 to 15. Similarly, the Kozhikode – Thiruvananthapuram Central Jan Shatabdi Express (train no: 12076) will have one additional chair car coach from December 29 to January 15.
The Thiruvananthapuram Central – Kannur Jan Shatabdi Express (train no: 12082) commencing from December 27 to January 15, except on Tuesdays and Saturdays will be provided with one additional chair car coach. Likewise, the Kannur – Thiruvananthapuram Central Jan Shatabdi Express (train no: 12081) commencing from December 28 to January 16, except on Wednesdays and Sundays, will be provided with one additional chair car coach.
