Kerala to Ayodhya train from tomorrow; Here's how to book tickets

Aastha special train, the first train service from Kerala to Ayodhya, will leave from Olavakkode in Palakkad on January 30, Tuesday. It is scheduled for 7.10 pm and will reach Ayodhya after three days. The train will leave for Palakkad on the same day. More services will be held from Palakkad and Thiruvananthapuram to the temple city, soon. 

Booking tickets
Travellers should note that you can't book tickets for the train from the railway station counter. Only groups of travellers are permitted to make the bookings for the time being, through the IRCTC Tourism website. The booking cannot be done through the IRCTC app either. Every Astha train will have 22 sleeper coaches. As of now, the services are also scheduled for February 4, 9, 14, 19, 24 and 29. The return services are scheduled for February 3, 8, 13, 18, 23 and 28. Around 1,500 people can travel in one train.
