Trains rescheduled in these routes due to gauge conversion and multi tracking

Thiruvananthapuram: The train services in the Tamil Nadu – Aralvaimozhi – Nagercoil – Kanyakumari route have either been cancelled or rescheduled as multi – tracking works are being done in this route.

These are the trains that are cancelled:
Nagercoil Junction – Kanyakumari Unreserved Special (06643) has been cancelled from March 20 – 27. Meanwhile, Kollam Junction – Kanyakumari – Memu Express Special (06772), Kanyakumari – Kollam Junction Memu Express Special (06773) and Kochuveli – Nagercoil Junction Unreserved Special (06433) services are not available on today and tomorrow as well as from March 23 – 27.

Services like Kochuveli – Nagercoil Junction Unreserved Special (06429), Nagercoil Junction – Kochuveli Unreserved Special (06430), Nagercoil – Kochuveli Unreserved Special (06428), Kollam Junction – Alappuzha Unreserved Special (06770), Alappuzha – Kollam Junction Unreserved Special (06771), Thirunelveli Junction – Nagercoil Junction Unreserved Special (06642) and Nagercoil Junction – Thirunelveli Junction Unreserved Special (06641) are cancelled from March 23 to March 27. Besides, Kollam Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Unreserved Special (06435) and Thiruvananthapuram Central – Nagercoil Junction Unreserved Special (06435) too are cancelled from March 22 – 27 and March 23 – 27 respectively.

Trains that are rescheduled:
The Pune Junction – Kanyakumari Express (16381) that departs on March 25 will end its journey at Nagercoil Junction. Meanwhile, the same train will end the journey at Kochuveli from March 20 to March 24. The KSR Bengaluru – Kanyakumari Island Express that departed yesterday had ended its journey at Nagercoil; Kochuveli would be the last stop for this train from March 20 to March 25. Punalur – Nagercoil Express Special (06639) would end the journey at Parassala from March 23 to March 27. Meanwhile, the Howrah – Kanyakumari Superfast Express (12665) that departs on March 25 will only be up to Nagercoil.
