Qatar has reopened its airspace after a temporary shutdown due to Iran's missile strikes on the country's US military bases in Al Udeid. Following this, carriers like Indigo have gradually resumed their flights to the Middle East. Qatar Airways has also reinstated flights following the opening of airspace. The airlines said on X, "Qatar Airways confirms the reinstatement of flights as airspace reopens in Qatar. Our focus at this time is to help our passengers return home or reach their onward journey safely and smoothly." The airline also said it has deployed extra ground staff at Qatar's Hamad International Airport as it resumes operations.

On its website, the airline said that tickets booked on or before June 23 for travel till June 30 include two complimentary reissues valid for travel up to July 15. They have also issued full refunds for any affected flights. Meanwhile, India is also monitoring the situation, as Qatar has more than 8 lakh Indian citizens, which is its biggest expat community. The Indian embassy has urged citizens to be cautious. "Please remain calm and follow local news, as well as instructions and guidance provided by Qatar authorities. The Embassy will also keep updating through our social media channels," it said.
