In a select few Vande Bharat trains, the Southern Railway has introduced a real-time reservation facility, allowing passengers to book tickets just 15 minutes before the train's departure from the station. In Kerala, the facility will be available on the Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru and Mangaluru-Thiruvananthapuram trains via Alappuzha. You can book the tickets online or via the station counter.

A few other Vande Bharat trains in which the facility is launched are:
1) Chennai - Nagercoil
2) Nagercoil - Chennai
3) Coimbatore - Bengaluru
4) Mangaluru -  Madgav
5) Madhura - Bengaluru
6) Chennai - Vijayawada
