Due to Gen Z protests rocking Nepal, which even resulted in the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the country's Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has been closed. All flights at the airport have also been cancelled due to security concerns. Flights from the airport were halted from 12.45 pm today, as many crew members of various airlines couldn't reach TIA. A while ago, the country's domestic airlines, like Buddha Air, had announced the suspension of all flights. 

What passengers should know
1) Two Indigo flights (6E1153 - Delhi to Kathmandu) and 6E1157 - Mumbai to Kathmandu) ) were diverted to Lucknow earlier today, and they will be diverted to their origin airports. 
2) Indigo has announced that passengers can either opt for an alternate flight or claim a refund from their website. 
3) Air India has cancelled all flights (AI2231/2232, AI2219/2220 and AI217/218) to and from Kathmandu scheduled for today.
4) Yeti Airlines, one of Nepal's major airlines, has also cancelled all flights.
