Kochi: Air India Express will launch daily direct flights from Bengaluru to Bangkok from October 18 onwards. As an inaugural offer, seats would be available for an express value rate at Rs 16,800 to Bangkok and back. Besides, tickets from Bengaluru to Bangkok are available for Rs 9000.

The flight departs Bengaluru every day at 11 am and reaches Bangkok by 4.45 pm. The return trip is at 5.45 pm and lands in Bengaluru at 8.30 pm. The new service would be an advantage for Keralites who choose Thailand as their holiday destination, as Air India Express has regular services from all four airports in Kerala to Bengaluru. This new route would further solidify the airline company's presence in Thailand. Currently, Air India Express has services from Bangkok to Lucknow, Pune and Surat and from Phuket to Hyderabad.

Air India Express has launched Express Biz seats and gourmet menus on its 40 brand-new aircraft. Besides, the airline also offers express ahead-of-time check-in facility and baggage handling service.

Air India Express has over 440 weekly direct flights from its base in Bengaluru to 30 domestic and four international airports in the country. Besides, there are six domestic and 13 international one-stop services from Bengaluru. Air India Express has an impressive fleet of 115 aircraft. The airline operates more than 525 flights to 41 domestic and 17 international destinations daily.
