Flight operations partially resume at Abu Dhabi airport: Important updates

The Zayed International Airport (AUH) of Abu Dhabi had resumed limited flight operations in coordination with its Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre. Authorities said that passengers holding confirmed tickets should contact their airlines for the latest flight schedules, and are urged to travel to the airport only after receiving specific guidance on when to arrive for departure. Limited operations have also begun at other UAE airports, including Dubai, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah, mostly for passengers with confirmed bookings, cargo movements, and repatriation. Unless they have a confirmed departure notification from their airlines, passengers should not head to airports.
SpiceJet's 13 special flights from the UAE
Today, SpiceJet will operate 12 flights from Fujairah and one from Dubai to India. While seven flights are to Mumbai, five are to Delhi, and one is to Mumbai.
Airlines issue advisories
Emirates, which is operating a few services for passengers with confirmed bookings, has otherwise suspended all its scheduled flights from and to Dubai till March 7. Similarly, Etihad has also suspended all scheduled flights to and from Abu Dhabi till 6 am UAE time on March 6. Flydubai has also begun a few services today, though several routes remain affected. Qatar Airways hasn't resumed operations due to the closure of Qatari airspace, though it is still operating some flights to assist stranded flyers, including Muscat to Berlin, Heathrow, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Rome.
