Akasa Air launches Kozhikode-Jeddah service today

Akasa Air launches its Kozhikode-Jeddah daily service from today. This is Akasa Air’s first international service from Kozhikode. Currently, the company operates flights on the Kozhikode-Bengaluru route. Meanwhile, Akasa Air has scheduled daily services from Kozhikode to Jeddah. The flight departs Kozhikode at 6.55 pm and lands at Jeddah by 10.50 pm local time. Meanwhile, the return trip is at 9.10 am local time and reaches Kozhikode at 5.30 pm. 

Akasa Air had earlier announced that the Kozhikode – Jeddah service would start on March 13. However, it was delayed due to airspace restrictions following the Middle East crisis. Akasa Air's entry will benefit private hajj pilgrims, Umrah devotees, and expatriates who rely on Kozhikode airport.
