Kannur-Thiruvananthapuram Jan Shatabdi Express (12081/12082) has been allowed to stop at Aluva on an experimental basis, effective from today (May 22). 
Updated timings
1) 12081 Kannur-Thiruvananthapuram Central Jan Shatabdi Express will reach Aluva (AWY) at 8.48 am and leave the station at 8.50 am. 
2)12082 Thiruvananthapuram Central-Kannur Jan Shatabdi Express reaches Aluva station at 7.19 pm and leaves at 7.21 pm.
The train operates on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 

Vanchinad also gets a new stop
The Ernakulam-Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam Vanchinad Express (16303/16304) also gets a new stop from today, at Thiruvananthapuram Pettah. The stop is granted for six months. The train (16303) will arrive at Pettah at 9.30 am and depart at 9.31 am. In the Ernakulam direction (16304), it will arrive at Pettah at 5.50 pm and leave at 5.51 pm.
