The Karnataka RTC has launched a daily non–AC Pallakki sleeper bus service from Bengaluru to Ernakulam and Kasargod. The sleeper bus replaces the Rajahamsa non–AC seater bus that operated services to Ernakulam. The 30-seater Pallakki bus will soon start services to Kozhikode, Kottayam, and Munnar as well. This bus started running from Bengaluru to border areas such as Kaniyoor and Puthoor around two months ago. 

Ernakulam Pallakki
The bus starts from Bengaluru Shantinagar terminal at 8.36 pm and reaches Ernakulam at 7 am via Salem, Coimbatore, Palakkad (4.45 am) and Thrissur (5.45 am). Meanwhile, the bus departs Ernakulam at 7.02 pm, reaches Thrissur at 9.15 pm and Palakkad at 11.15 pm, and arrives at the Majestic bus terminal by 6 am. The bus fare is ₹1,264 to Ernakulam, ₹1,064 to Thrissur and ₹Rs 964 to Palakkad. 

Kasargod Pallakki
The Pallaki bus to Kasargod departs from the Bengaluru Shantinagar terminal at 8 pm and arrives at the destination at 5.45 am. This bus stops at Mysuru (11.45 pm), Sullia (4.15 am) and Mulleria (4.59 am).  The return trip from Kasargod is at 9 pm. It reaches Mulleria at 9.30 pm, Sullia at 10.30 pm and Mysuru at 3 am before arriving at Shantinagar by 5.50 am. The ticket fare from Bengaluru to Kasargod is ₹1093, and from Mysuru it is ₹527.
