All tracks lead to Kerala this Onam, going by Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's announcement that more than 100 special trains would be operated from various parts of the country to Kerala during the extremely busy Onam season.

The list of special trains will be published soon. Although four special trains have been announced from Bengaluru to Kerala, no services have been approved yet from Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Hubbali, Indore, and Jaipur.

Passengers, meanwhile, have been urging the authorities to allot more trains on the Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai route this year during the Onam holiday season.
