Amid the hills of Chooralmala stands ‘After July 30’—part restaurant, part bakery, built from loss, memory, and resilience. Its owner, Noufal, lost 11 family members in the 2024 Wayanad landslide. With help from community groups, he fulfilled his late wife’s dream and built a space where survivors heal over tea, cakes, and conversation.
