Kerala Medical College Controversy: How Dr Haris Was Framed

It was shocking the way the government and the hospital administration went after Dr Haris after he gave vent to his deep frustration about the inordinate purchase delays in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. They were looking for crumbs to discredit the honest hard working doctor. Health minister Veena George insinuated that he had stolen a morcellator.

The principal and the superintendent gave the impression that Dr Haris had sneaked into the hospital and replaced the stolen morcellator with a new one. All these claims were eventually exposed as bogus.
