Sabarimala gold scandal: Who stole from Lord Ayyappa?

The Kerala High Court has directed the Special Investigation Team to probe the alleged gold theft in Sabarimala. It has been reported that the gold-clad panels of the sanctum sanctorum were handed over to the priest-cum-sponsor, Unnikrishnan Potty, leading to misappropriation, illegal extraction, and fraudulent transactions.
