Will Satheesan let KIIFB be or let it die?

Chief Minister V D Satheesan had consistently opposed KIIFB. Now that he is also the finance minister, what will he do to KIIFB? Winding up the Board all of a sudden is out of question. But he has two options. One, he can cap KIIFB at Rs 50,000 or Rs 60,000 crore and prevent it from taking on too many projects. As it stands, projects over Rs one lakh crore have been announced. Fact is, KIIFB has pumped into the ground only about Rs 39,000 crore till now. The second option is to delink KIIFB from Kerala Budget and retain it as a revenue-earning entity that collects tools and user fees for the use of its roads, bridges and industrial parks.
