Chief Minister V D Satheesan addressed the ED’s letter to the State Police Chief, prolonged power cuts in Kerala and the controversy involving MLA Remya Haridas. He said the ED letter would be legally reviewed before a decision is taken. He also said a solution to the power shortage would be found by September 15. On the power crisis, Satheesan spoke about KSEB’s 800 MW deficit and the rising cost of purchasing electricity. He also responded to the Remya Haridas controversy, saying the party would not tolerate irregularities.
