A 17-year-old, the son of a district judge, allegedly driving his father's Mercedes-Benz without a licence, hit a scooter from behind, killing a 55-year-old street vendor. The incident comes less than two weeks after the fatal Mini Cooper crash near Nedumbassery that claimed three young lives. Questions of parental responsibility, power and privilege are once again in focus.
