Gaza faces widespread hunger amidst collapsing food systems

The UN World Food Programme (WFP) has issued a dire warning regarding a significant food gap and widespread hunger in Gaza. With only ten percent of the necessary food supplies entering the region since the conflict began, almost the entire population is now in desperate need of food assistance. The situation has worsened due to the closure of the last bakery in partnership with WFP, which is attributed to a lack of fuel.
