Till now, Kerala has the lowest SIR-induced voter deletion in the country of 3.2 per cent. In 2024, during the Lok Sabha polls, Kerala's electoral roll had 2,78,50,855 voters. This was the base list for the 2025 SIR. After the three-month SIR exercise, the number was 2,69,53,644, a difference of less than 9 lakh. Significantly, 'logical discrepancies' and Form 7 were not used for mass deletions in Kerala like in other states.
