Kochi : Pai Dosa doesn’t need an introduction to food lovers in the city. The Pai Brothers have taught the city dwellers to fall in love with dosas.

Having started as a road side dosa stall at MG Road, their humble business and innovative varieties of dosas has grown up not only to find a permanent place in the food map of the state, but has also found several mentions in the Mollywood.

The journey that began with just 6 dosas, then 36 and now about 160 ingenious varieties- the Pai brothers have expanded their menu after a lot of experimentation by adding nuts, vegetables, cheese and even chocolate.

Their serious experimentation with dosas has taken them even across the seas.

Unlike big business magnates, Pai dosa has not forgotten their humble beginnings. They have set a mark by conducting a dosa seva as part of the Annual Ernakulam Siva Temple festival. Their masterpiece dosa 'the thattil kutti dosa' which became a part of blockbuster Malayalam food based movie 'Salt and pepper', along with a glass of badam milk.

Thousands of devotees queued up to taste the Pai family’s special. The Pai Family along with employees of their outlets had set up a live kitchen at the Ernakulathappan ground to serve the hunger pangs of the devotees’.

People who gathered up are of the opinion that the enthusiasm with which the team served the food was enough not only to fullfill their stomachs but also their hearts.

Thus the big name in the food industry is setting a great example for the masses to follow.
