The delay in publishing the results of the 2016-18 batch of M.Com (Private Registration) course under the MG University has almost robbed the chances of many students planning for higher studies.

The first and second semester examinations of the course were conducted in the months of October and November, 2017. However, the results are not yet out.

Even though the 2016-18 course has ended, the students are still awaiting the results of their first and second semester examinations. The notification for the third and fourth semester examinations has not been issued. The final year examinations of the course should have been ideally conducted in the months of April and May, 2018.

The University officials have said that the MA English (Private Registration) answer papers have not been evaluated and notification of M.Com exams can only be put up after that.

A formal complaint was raised with the university on October 10, 2018, demanding the immediate publication of results. The students had also submitted a written representation to the Vice-Chancellor.

Meanwhile, the 2017-19 M.Com (Private registration) batch has completed the exams.

The students of 2016-18 batch lost their opportunity to write supplementary examinations, if any because of the delay in results.

Many students who had plans of higher education do not know whether they will even get an opportunity to write the job tests before the prescribed age limit.
