Thiruvananthapuram: The first allotment for the higher secondary first year admission is out. The admition process will begin from Friday.
Earlier, the authorities had said that the allotment would take place only on Saturday as the results of the SSLC revaluation were expected on Thursday. However, the results came a day ahead on Wednesday and the admission date too was advanced.
The allotment is being done after considering the higher grades obtained by students after revaluation. So, candidates whose grades have changed have been advised to bring a printout from the official website of the Pareeksha Bhavan during admission.
Admissions based on the first allotment would be conducted from Friday to 4 pm on May 27. Candidates who do not take admission would not be considered for further allotments.
Students getting the first option have to pay the fees as they gain permanent admission. Those obtaining the lower options can seek permanent or temporary admission. In the latter case, fees need not be paid. Such students can cancel their higher options also. The application in this regard can be submitted to the school they take admission.
Students who fail to find a place in the first allotment need to wait for the second allotment. The last rank for each school and category also can be checked.
Students who have not applied till now can do so during the supplementary allotment after the second allotment. The sports quota allotment are also published along with it. Admissions are up to May 27. Website: www.hscap.kerala.gov.in
